Fantasy Impact: Ian Kennedy to DL

San Diego Padres pitcher Ian Kennedy will be placed on the 15-day disabled list, after he left Thursday’s game against the Giants with a left hamstring injury.

I talked to Dr. Selene Parekh (@seleneparekhmd) about this situation.

He informed me: “A hamstring strain can occur with dehydration, over-use, miss-stepping, or trauma.” The hamstring is an injury that could cause some concern now and down the line.
